We will pick you up between 08:30-09:00 to visit five of the top Istanbul attractions on a full-day, private tour of the city. This action-packed day includes a comprehensive tour of the historical Sultanahmet neighborhood, where many of the city’s finest architectural legacies and landmarks are found. Visit the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Hippodrome of Constantinople, and the dazzling Grand Bazaar.

Blue Mosque: Constructed during the 17th century, the Blue Mosque is one of the largest mosques in Istanbul. Its architecture, which notably includes blue tiles and six minarets, is one of the principal adornments of the city’s skyline.

Hagia Sophia: Also known as the Church of Holy Wisdom, Hagia Sophia is undoubtedly one of the greatest architectural creations in the world. It was converted from a Greek Orthodox church to a mosque during the Ottoman period; now it serves as a museum.

Topkapi Palace: The great palace of the Ottoman sultans for nearly 400 years, the Topkapi Palace houses an exquisite collection of crystal, silver, Chinese porcelain, robes worn by the sultans and their families, the famous jewels of the Imperial Treasury, miniatures, and the Holy Mantle, one of the relics of the Prophet Mohammed.

Hippodrome of Constantinople: The Hippodrome of Constantinople was the center for entertainment, sports, and political activities in the city during the Roman and Byzantine Empires. You will see the Obelisk of Thutmose III (brought from Egypt in the 4th century), the Serpent Column from Delphi, and the fountain of Willhelm II.

Grand Bazaar: The Grand Bazaar is the oldest and largest covered market in the world, containing nearly 4,000 shops full of rich collections of carpets, jewelry, leather, and souvenirs.

Note: The Topkapi Palace is closed on Tuesdays and Hagia Sophia is closed on Mondays. If your tour falls on one of these days, we will substitute the closed place with the Istanbul Archeological Museum. The Grand Bazaar is closed on Sundays. If your tour falls on this day, we will visit the Egyptian Market (Spice Bazaar) instead.

The Imperial Treasury and the harem sections in the Topkapi Palace are not included in the program due to extra entry fees.
